Ludgrove springs into the Summer term
Links in this section"Your parents and all the staff at Ludgrove want you to fly." Mr Barber kicked off the first Assembly of the new term by inspiring the boys to push themselves to be the best they can be.
It was an absolute pleasure to not only see our boys back in School but also to welcome our parents into Ludgrove for the first time this year. It was very special for them to be able to settle the boys back into their dorms.
We also said hello to eight new faces, eager to get stuck into Ludgrove life. They were met at the door by their 'shadow' who shows them the ropes around the School and help them to feel at home.
By the end of the first day, the cricket nets were in full flights with novice and seasoned players getting warmed up for cricket trials on the first Saturday - a glorious sight of players showcasing their skills in the beautiful sunshine as far as the eye could see.
Sunday Funday lived up to its name with a packed programme of activities including tree climbing, Monkey House, Camps, tennis, golf, music, pottery, computing, high jump and, of course, cricket nets and a match organised by the Gappers. Thank goodness they had a full Sunday lunch followed by Pinchin Mix to keep them fuelled for action.
