Charles Butterworth has been a Governor since 2012 and took up the Chairman role in Summer 2021. He was educated at Radley College and Bristol University. He is a senior executive with over 24 years’ experience within large multinational corporations in the technology, telecommunications and investment banking sectors. Charles’ son attended Ludgrove from 2012-2016.

Neil Brooks joined the Ludgrove governing body in 2018 and has previously sat on the board at Sandroyd School. He was educated at Magdalen College School, Oxford and Warwick University. He spent eight years as an officer in the British Army until changing to a career in teaching. He was headmaster of Cothill House (2003 – 2011) and ran an outreach programme with the Cothill Trust and the Natural History Museum before a brief stint as the Principal of the Cothill Trust. Neil became the Principal of the Fulham Schools in 2016 and moved to be Headmaster of Cranleigh Prep School in 2018. He is married to Tracy who has supported him throughout his career and is a member of the Pangbourne College Governing body. They have two grown up sons.

Richard Cormack has been a Governor since 2016. He was educated at Eton College and The University of Edinburgh. He has had a 25+ year career in investment banking in London and Hong Kong. His son was at Ludgrove between 2013-2018.

Ruth den Besten became a governor in 2020. She was educated at Tormead School, Guildford and Jesus College, Oxford where she took a first in history and coxed the University lightweights. Ruth is now a barrister specialising in civil fraud. She has undertaken work for the Social Mobility Foundation and Advocate and is a mentor for underrepresented groups at the Commercial Bar. She has two sons at Ludgrove.

Logie Fitzwilliams has been a Governor since 2021. He was educated at Ludgrove, Harrow and The John Hopkins University in America. Logie is a Partner at Brown Advisory and heads the firms International business. He began his career at Brown Advisory in America in 2003 as an equity research analyst. Following this, Logie started the firm’s International business in 2008 when he relocated from Baltimore to London. Logie, his wife Annabel and their three children, Honor, Arlo and Lochie split their time between Berkshire, London and America.

D’Arcy Vigors has been on the board of Governors since 2018. Born in Canada, she has worked in the fashion industry for over 20 years, both as a model and designer, travelling extensively throughout Asia and Europe, working in print and television for clients such as Chanel, Cartier and Donna Karan, eventually settling in London. She completed a Foundation degree in Art in Design as well as a BA in Womenswear Design at the London College of Fashion, while working for the British design label Goat during its formative years. As well as being on the main board, D'Arcy is also on the Pastoral and Academic sub committee. She is married to Ollie Vigors and they have 2 boys currently at Ludgrove.
