Staff show their support for young people's mental health
Links in this sectionBeaming a little sunshine into Ludgrove School, staff wore splashes of yellow in support of the charity, Young Minds, #hellowyellow campaign to show young people they are not alone with their mental health struggles.
As a part of the School's continued focus on the boys mental as well and physical well being, Mr Western-Kaye, Mr Hawkins and Ms Sutcliffe (Matron) have recently qualified as Youth Mental Health First Aiders. They have been specially trained to recognise the subtle warning signs and symptoms of poor mental health in children and can then guide them to receive the best support for them.
These three 'new recruits' join the already qualified team of Mrs Barber and Mr Pinchin-Hughes.
