The boys have enjoyed a fun weekend of sport, activites and free time. The matches on Saturday afternoon were played in great spirit and in the morning a number of boys helped out with the Open Morning, assisting in carpentry and showing families around the school.
On Sunday we were lucky enough to have the Headmaster of Marlborough College, Jonathan Leigh, speaking in chapel. Using the analogy of a giraffe he reminded us of how we must be bold enough to stick our heads up above the parapet and take the right path, even if others around us are not.
After lunch and the Pinchin-Mix, the rest of the day was filled with birthday outings, swims, pottery, pool and ping pong, fun in camps and on the monkey house. There was also a first choreography rehearsal for the DS ‘High School Musical’, which the top year will be performing on the last weekend of term.
Finally, whilst the rest of the school had supper, our Sixes enjoyed their New Boys Tea before bed for all. More photos here
