Ludgrove finished the Michaelmas term with three stunning productions
Links in this sectionWhat a special way to bring the Michaelmas term to a close - three different productions in the weeks leading up to the end of term. First was the VIs' Nativity followed by the Top Year production and closing with the annual Ludgrove Carol Concert.
There was festive magic in the air when the VIs (Year 4) retold a story over 2,000 years old to a packed audience of family, boys and staff. Wonderful characters, songs and jokes added a little bit extra to the classic Nativity story. What a great first experience of performing in the Ludgrove Theatre for the newest members of the School community. Special thank you to Angus from the IIIs (Year 3) who stood in as an angel at the last moment.
The Top Year (Year 8) had an amazing run of three performances of Fiddler on the Roof. Their weeks of hard work in rehearsals resulted in an absolute triumph on stage to the delight of the School on Friday and families on Saturday and Sunday.
The Michaelmas term finally came to a close when the whole School came together for the annual and much loved Ludgrove Carol Service. The boys and their families joined with the staff and Choir in a celebration of Christmas carols conducted by Mr Murtagh and accompanied by Mr Bellingham. The perfect way to wave the everyone off for the festive season.
